The CM vs. Pixels Nightmare
State exam portals are notorious for giving confusing photo instructions. The notification will say: "Upload a photo that is exactly 4.5cm x 3.5cm." But when you try to upload it, the computer asks for "Pixels."
If you use a basic online resizer and guess the pixels, the tool usually "squashes" or "stretches" your image to make it fit the box. If your face looks stretched or unnatural, the exam board will immediately reject your application.
The Perfect Mathematical Crop
To solve this, we built a Custom Resizer that does the complex math for you and locks the aspect ratio so your face never stretches.
Step-by-Step Fix:
- Go to the ⚙️ Custom Resize tab on ExamPhotoResizer.com.
- Type in your required Width and Height (e.g., 3.5 and 4.5).
- Change the Measurement Unit to Centimeters (cm).
- Upload your photo.
Our tool automatically converts those exact centimeters into the correct pixels based on the DPI you need. Better yet, the cropping box locks into the exact shape of those dimensions. Just frame your face inside the box, click Download, and your photo will be mathematically perfect without any distortion!
