🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
Age Limit:
- Most posts fall into the 18-25 Years, 18-27 Years, or 18-30 Years brackets depending on the specific department requirement.
- Age Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC, 10 Years for PwBD, 3 Years for Ex-Servicemen.

📈 Salary & Pay Levels
The salary varies depending on the specific post applied for under Phase 14. Candidates are entitled to central government allowances like DA, HRA, and TA.
- Level-1 to Level-3: Typically for Matriculation & Higher Secondary posts (₹18,000 to ₹69,100).
- Level-4 to Level-7: Typically for Graduate & higher technical posts (₹25,500 to ₹1,12,400).
⚙️ Computer Based Exam (CBE) Pattern
There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above.

1. Matriculation (10th) Level
- General Intelligence: Non-verbal types, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, visual memory, relationship concepts, figure classification.
- General Awareness: Current events, India and its neighboring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Number Systems, Decimals and Fractions, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work.
- English Language: Basics of English Language, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage.
2. Higher Secondary (10+2) Level
- General Intelligence: Both verbal and non-verbal type. Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Venn Diagrams, Punched hole/pattern-folding, Figural Pattern-folding, Critical Thinking.
- General Awareness: Questions designed to test knowledge of current events, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy, and scientific research.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Algebra, Geometry (Triangles, Circles), Mensuration (Cylinders, Cones, Spheres), Trigonometry, Statistical Charts (Histogram, Pie-chart).
- English Language: Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice, Cloze Passage.
3. Graduation & Above Level
- General Intelligence: Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, syllogistic reasoning.
- General Awareness: Environment, society, current events, India and neighbors, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General policy, Scientific research.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, Decimals, Fractions, Percentages, Ratio, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Mixture, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Data Interpretation.
- English Language: Candidates' ability to understand correct English, their basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.
⚠️ Common Mistakes & Documents Required
SSC is notoriously strict regarding application document uploads. Formatting your photo incorrectly is the #1 reason for form rejection.
SSC Strict Rules:
- Live Photo / Exact Specs: Depending on the application interface, you must provide a clear Photograph without spectacles, sunglasses, or a cap. The background must be plain white.
- Clear Signature: Your Signature must be clear. Blurred or miniature signatures will lead to outright rejection.
