🎓 Essential Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory PET-2025 Score
Candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid score card. Candidates with zero or negative normalized scores will not be shortlisted for the Mains exam.
To apply, candidates must fulfill ALL of the following criteria by the last date (11-05-2026):
Post Graduate Degree (Master's)
Must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Statistics from a university established by law in India.
Note: Equivalent degrees like MBA Finance, M.Com, M.Sc Math/Stat, etc., are strictly accepted as per government orders.
Computer Diploma
Must hold an 'O' Level Diploma in Computer awarded by DOEACC Society OR at least a one-year diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution.
Language Requirement
Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script is required.
Preferential Qualifications (Adhimani Arhata):
These do not grant extra marks but give preference if two candidates secure equal marks in the exam:
- Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years.
- Obtained an NCC 'B' Certificate.
📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern
1. Shortlisting Process (The 15x Rule)
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination based on their PET-2025 normalized scores. UPSSSC will call candidates equal to 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies for the written test.
2. Mains Written Examination
The selection is purely based on a single written examination comprising objective multiple-choice questions.

3. Document Verification
Candidates who clear the Main written exam cutoff will be called for Document Verification before the final merit list is released.
